Al Nathan and BlueStreak plays contemporary and classic blues, along with blues-based original tunes. In 2006, they released their first CD,  Blues and Black Coffee. BlueStreak can be found playing clubs and concerts throughout Central New York, and they’ve become one of CNY’s favorite groups, performing frequently in Utica, Syracuse, the Mohawk Valley and Adirondack Region.

In addition to being on of the area’s top keyboard players, Al also owns and operates Nathan’s Bakery in Old Forge, where people come to eat bagels, drink coffee and listen to blues music, which served as the inspiration for the title song on Blues and Black Coffee

Al - aka Luther Crenshaw - attended Berklee School of Music and worked the Boston music scene throughout the late 60s and 70s. He returned to the Central NY scene in the early 80s and now leads BlueStreak. Their sound is formed by Al’s keyboards and vocals, along with strong electric guitar lines and a powerful rhythm section that delivers soulful tunes to move peoples’ feet and hearts.
